Creativity Boot Camp - Day 1
I signed up for Creativity Boot Camp a couple of weeks ago over on http://creativebootcamp.blogspot.com/.
Madeline has put together two weeks of daily prompts to encourage our creativity and think of ourselves more as artists than just hobbyists or crafters.
Day one included writing a letter to your future self about what you had gained from the bootcamp experience (I will be honest and say that I haven't done this excercise yet).
The word prompt of the day to release that creativity was "Ivory".
No problems here - my reaction was immediate! I have a photo in my craft room of the kids aged 6 and 2 sitting on top of an enormous bull elephant!
Madeline has asked people to choose an artistic medium to work in (which could be anything) and although I chose to first create a LO, I then switched to make an ATC. My "Ivory" theme also switched from elephants to bridal and I created an embossed, sequined and be-netted piece.
I've had a quick go at ATC's in the past couple of weeks - but this is my absolute favourite - so far!
I wonder what day two will bring?
